01Regular cleaning
Cleaning on a schedule
How often should I have the place cleaned?
Most homes settle on every week or every other week, and plenty do fine with once a month. It comes down to how many people are in the house, whether there are pets, and how much of it is in daily use. Tell us about the place and we’ll say what we’d suggest — you can move it either way once you see how it goes.
What’s the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
A regular clean keeps a place where it already is: kitchen and bathrooms every visit, dusting through the rooms you use, floors vacuumed and mopped. A deep clean gets behind and underneath — appliance exteriors, cabinet fronts, tub and tile scrubbed rather than freshened, baseboards, door frames, vents and the tops of things. It takes longer and it’s priced that way.
Do I need a deep clean before starting a schedule?
Not always, but it’s often the cheaper order. A deep clean first means every visit after it is maintaining a place that’s already there, instead of slowly catching up on the same backlog. If the place has been kept up, skip it. Say what you’re dealing with and we’ll tell you which we’d do.
Can I change what gets done, or how often?
Yes, and it’s expected. We agree a room list and a frequency at the start, and either can move — a month where the spare room matters, a stretch where it doesn’t, a step up before people come to stay. Tell us and we’ll adjust it.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit it helps — that’s when we agree what’s getting done and what to leave alone. After that it’s your call, and how we get in is something we sort out with you rather than something this page can answer for every house.
02The work
What a visit covers
What’s included every time?
Kitchen and bathrooms cleaned and sanitized, dusting through living areas and bedrooms, and floors vacuumed and mopped throughout. Beyond that it’s the room list we agree with you, so nothing gets quietly dropped because it was never written down.
Is there anything you don’t do?
We’re inside cleaners. We don’t do pressure washing, we don’t do window cleaning outside, and we don’t do carpet shampooing. If a job needs one of those we’ll say so rather than take it on.
Do you clean offices and shops as well as homes?
Yes — offices and workspaces, retail and storefronts, medical and dental practices. The work is different enough to be priced differently, so the services page splits them out. Commercial visits can run during the day or in the evening, whichever gets in your way least.
Can you clean a place that’s empty?
That’s what move-in and move-out cleaning is for. An empty property is the only time everything is reachable, so it goes further than a normal visit — inside cabinets and drawers, inside the oven and the fridge, and the whole of every floor with nothing standing on it.
What should I do before you arrive?
Nothing you don’t want to. Clearing surfaces you’d rather we didn’t sort through means more of the visit goes on cleaning, but it isn’t a condition. If something shouldn’t be touched, say so and it won’t be.
03Quotes & scheduling
Getting a quote
How much does it cost?
There’s no per-hour or per-room figure we can print on a page and stand behind. What a visit costs turns on the size of the place, how many bathrooms it has, how often we come and what’s on the list. Tell us those and you’ll get a price for your property rather than an average one.
Is there a job too small, or one too big?
Ask. A one-bedroom apartment and a building of offices are both ordinary work, and the honest answer for anything unusual depends on the property rather than on a rule we could write here.
How do I get a quote?
Use the contact page to tell us about the property and what you want done. We’ll follow up to work out the details and get you a quote. No obligation either way.
How soon can you start, and how long does a visit take?
There’s no date or hour count we can print on a page and stand behind — both turn on the property and on what’s already booked. Ask when you get in touch and you’ll get an honest answer for your job. If a particular day matters, a move or people arriving, mention it up front.
What if something isn’t right?
Tell us. Getting a room put right is a conversation, not a complaints process, and it’s far better to hear it than to have you quietly working around it.
How far do you travel?
We work across Brevard County, Florida, out of Melbourne, FL. If you’re not sure whether your property is in range, just ask — we’ll tell you straight.
How do I contact you?
Use the contact page or email us at goldstandardcleaning99@yahoo.com. We aim to be back in touch within about two days.
